EVL Hosts the NSF Sage All-Hands and Advisory Committee Meetings
EVL hosted the NSF Sage leadership team, including EVL director Mike Papka, for their annual All-Hands Meeting (AHM) and Advisory Committee meeting, held July 29–31, 2026 in EVL’s Arcade room. For three days the teams used EVL’s facilities to brainstorm and discuss their AI at the edge project and its deployment.
The meetings continued directly from the Sage Grande: Summer of AI hackathon held at EVL the previous week, carrying the students’ edge deployment work into the leadership team’s planning discussions.
Throughout the meetings, the Arcade display wall was used to lay out slides, dashboards, participant introductions, and project imagery side by side, so the group could work across the full breadth of the project at once.
