Sudden Loss, a large format digital media display piece created by EVL MFA alumnus (2011) JD Pirtle, is showcased at the Hyde Park Art Center’s Jackman Goldwasser Catwalk Gallery - May 27th through June 2nd, 2011. The piece written in Processing evolves over a 7 hour period, changing hourly. Viewers can be immersed in the work from within the Gallery during daylight hours, and from the city streets at dark (8PM). Exterior view of Sudden Loss
