EDITOR’S NOTE: The Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL) at University of Illinois at Chicago recently hosted two Northwestern University Medill School graduate students who are majoring in science journalism. Frank Jackson and Annie Koval spent four full days at EVL in fulfillment of their practicum course work.
