Cristian Javier Luciano’s doctoral dissertation “Open Surgery Training Simulator Using Haptics and Augmented Reality Technologies” has been nominated by the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering for the Annual Graduate College Outstanding Thesis Award for 2010. Awards are made in only four divisional categories:

  • Behavioral and Social Science
  • Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences
  • Fine Arts and Humanities
  • Life Sciences
