Jason Leigh attended HPCAsia ”98 to present the paper entitled, “Preliminary STAR TAP Tele-Immersion Experiments between Chicago and Singapore”.

STAR TAP℠ is a persistent infrastructure to facilitate the long-term interconnection and interoperability of advanced international networking in support of applications, performance measuring, and technology evaluations.

STAR TAP℠ is being organized by EVL in collaboration with the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, Argonne National Laboratory, and Ameritech Advanced Data Services.
